About the position

The Lead ETL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, as well as managing data migration projects. This role involves leading ETL development activities, ensuring code quality, and mentoring other developers. The Lead ETL Developer collaborates with data and BI architects to create scalable data solutions and oversees the daily workflow of assigned staff, identifying opportunities to optimize the data environment for maximum value.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
• Lead ETL development activities and ensure the quality of ETL code.
• Guide and mentor other developers in ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data architects and BI architects to design robust data solutions.
• Manage daily workflow and lead the work of assigned staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize the data environment.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing ETL interfaces, preferably in healthcare or analytical industries.
• 3 years of architect/lead experience.
• Strong experience in data warehousing concepts, database design patterns, and ETL methodologies.
• Experience with Erwin data modeling toolset.
• Extensive experience in strategizing roadmap projects and providing technical supervision on large Data Warehouse applications.
• Experience in UNIX Shell / Python Scripting for automation of ETL jobs.
• Familiarity with Health Care systems such as QNXT/CCA/EDIFECS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based Informatica tools, IDMC, Amazon AWS, and Snowflake cloud technology.
• Strong consultative and strategic skills.
• Ability to present complex ETL documentation clearly to team members.
