About the position

The Lead ETL Developer position at Mastech involves leading ETL development efforts for clients in the IT Services domain. The role requires a strong background in ETL processes, particularly with Informatica, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. The position is contract-to-hire, emphasizing immediate availability and a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead ETL development efforts and manage the ETL process.
• Collaborate with Data Architect and Development Lead to design and implement data solutions.
• Schedule and manage Informatica jobs, preferably using CA7 scheduler.
• Oversee data warehousing projects and ensure data integrity and quality.
• Utilize strong Oracle database and PL/SQL skills in ETL processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on ETL development.
• Strong expertise in ETL/Informatica as a Lead developer.
• Proficient in Oracle database management and PL/SQL.
• Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably OBIEE.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with scheduling Informatica jobs using CA7 scheduler.
• Experience with HARVEST package moves for releases.
• Knowledge of HP-AML.
