About the position

The Lead Finance Analyst at Lumen plays a crucial role in partnering with business stakeholders to enhance understanding of financial performance and drive business outcomes. This position focuses on managing and building SAP Analytics Cloud models, ensuring that financial results and key initiatives are effectively communicated and understood. The role requires agility in a fast-paced environment and involves significant collaboration with various departments to support financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

Responsibilities

• Manages current SAP Analytics Cloud models for enhancements and support
• Builds new SAP Analytics Cloud models needed in FP&A, providing architecture, model building, documentation, and support
• Works with business owners to ensure requirements are documented and satisfied
• Acts as an SAP Analytics Cloud Champion within FP&A to assist with new build ideas and support

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance
• 1 year of SAP Analytics Cloud experience
• 3 years of FP&A or related experience
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize
• Detail-oriented with a thorough review of work to ensure accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with various company groups (sales, marketing, network services)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with analytic and business intelligence software (Essbase, Tableau, PowerBI & others)
• Experience with SQL and/or Python
• 1 year of Anaplan experience
