The Lead Financial Analyst will lead the organization's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting. This role involves maintaining records of the organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The Lead Financial Analyst will create reports on financial performance for both internal and external use, and will be responsible for completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities. In this position, the Lead Financial Analyst will lead and coordinate EDD estimation with involvement from each functional group, providing necessary analysis. They will review actual resource input and costs of each engineering project to ensure alignment with the plan. The analyst will be in charge of the full engineering department resourcing model, providing monthly input to financial forecasts. Additionally, they will maintain the engineering project checkbook, review and approve each requisition, and oversee the engineering department capex budget and forecast. The Lead Financial Analyst will also be a key member of the department budget and forecast team, providing necessary resource cost input, and will join monthly forecast reviews to lead resource discussions. Furthermore, they will provide month-end closing support, including project and resource-related journal entry input, and coordinate with the HR department to ensure actual headcount hiring aligns with the resourcing model. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate EDD estimation with involvement of each function group, providing necessary analysis.

  • Join monthly forecast review and lead resource discussion.
  • Provide month-end closing support, including project and resource-related journal entry input.
  • Coordinate with HR department to ensure actual headcount hiring aligns with resourcing model.
  • Join engineering department operation review with finance input.

Requirements

  • 5 years working experience with finance or accounting degree.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Able to utilize multiple ERP and resourcing management systems.
  • Business acumen, detail and task driven.
  • Able to work flexible working time according to needs.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment with a continuous improvement target.
