About The Position
ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This position is crucial for developing innovative financial solutions that drive customer outcomes and support company growth while effectively managing risk and reward. The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support for various programs, ensuring that internal customers receive timely and relevant data to facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires a mid-level professional with a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to work independently in problem-solving and decision-making processes. In this role, the Lead Financial Analyst will engage with Program Managers (PMs) on a monthly basis, or more frequently as needed, to deliver financial analyses that reflect the status of ongoing programs. The analyst will also participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, performing detailed analyses to support these processes. Developing program financial plans is a key responsibility, with a focus on aligning with departmental priorities within the business unit. Additionally, the Lead Financial Analyst will support various special projects within the finance group as assigned, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, is essential, along with experience in SAP, which is highly preferred. The ability to identify problems effectively and propose viable solutions is critical, as is a proven track record of analytical and organizational capabilities.
