About the position

The Lead Flight Attendant at MSG Aviation is responsible for providing exceptional safety and service to clients and guests, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role involves managing cabin operations, scheduling flight attendants, and maintaining high standards of customer relations and service quality. The Lead Flight Attendant will work closely with the flight crew and other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a culture of safety and efficient procedures that support customer service within MSG Aviation.
  • Function as a crew member in coordination with the flight deck crew, maintenance, and Flight Dispatch.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of MSG Aviation FAM and aircraft cabin systems.
  • Communicate necessary trip information and review post-flight specifics to resolve issues.
  • Work with the Chief Pilot and Senior Manager Flight Attendant in scheduling trips and maintaining a supportive work environment.
  • Plan menus in coordination with executive assistants and Senior Manager Flight Attendant.
  • Ensure aircraft stock room is equipped with standard food and beverage items.
  • Build and maintain a list of preferred catering companies and restaurants.
  • Conduct on-site audits of catering providers and maintain health inspection reports.
  • Foster a team atmosphere among flight attendants for suggestions and improvements.
  • Schedule, train, and conduct emergency training certification per FOM requirements.
  • Assist in training qualified flight attendants on catering and VIP service standards.
  • Participate in the company Safety Management System and report safety-related matters.
  • Participate in MSG Aviation special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ten years or more of successful experience as a Flight Attendant with high profile, EHNW travelers.
  • Excellent 'Command Presence' in the cabin with clients and guests.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a team orientation.
  • Comprehensive background in Culinary Arts, Food Safety, Beverage Management, and Menu Planning.
  • Valid US Passport with no foreign jurisdiction entry/exit restrictions.
  • Capable of passing initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Bachelor's degree or progress towards it.
  • Culinary Arts advanced training (such as CIA or equivalent).
  • Formal Flight Attendant Certification by Flight Safety or equivalent.
  • Contemporaneous Safety Training (MedAire, FACTS, Flight Safety).
  • Emergency Medical 'First Responder' certified and current.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable access to a personal vehicle.

  • Knowledge of international travel regulations and customs procedures.
