About the position

The Lead FP&A Analyst will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial and sales reports, conducting analyses for senior management, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes. This role requires strong financial analysis skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial and sales reports, along with detailed analyses for senior management.
• Conduct monthly reviews of key performance metrics, analyzing trends and variations within the business segments.
• Communicate findings to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Research market and macroeconomic trends to inform financial reports and analyses.
• Ensure the accuracy of statistical accounting data for the manufacturing division and maintain accurate consolidated reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during the annual budgeting process, providing necessary analyses and reports.
• Support monthly forecasting processes, preparing analyses and reporting variances.
• Generate ad hoc reports and analyses as required by senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Undertake additional assignments related to financial analysis as directed by the Financial Planning Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar area of focus.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within a manufacturing organization.
• Previous accounting experience is also preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis.
• Proficient in analyzing financial statements and forecasts.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create financial models and perform analyses quickly.
