About The Position

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Full Stack Development (NodeJs & Angular) with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
• Five or more years of experience in Full stack Java development.
• High proficiency with node JS, Angular, Spring Boot, Rest Api, Angular, SQL and database management.
• Proven Skills in working AWS Serverless Environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Seen as a keen learner within the technical components of the domains/products.
• Understand technical best practices to support Agile development.
• Passionate to learn new technologies and strives towards cross-functional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Team in design and implementation of scalable, source and cost-effective solutions.
• Build applications ensuring that the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards.
• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the MVP experience.
• Work closely with other developers and QAs to understand the system end-to-end.
• Write unit, integration tests and functional automation.
• Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code.
• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.
• Build using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
• Support product owner in defining future stories and tech lead in defining technical designs.
• In the future, this role may evolve to include product support & QA responsibilities.
