About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Mundelein, Illinois. This position is a contract role that offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in your work location. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of software applications, focusing primarily on either Frontend (FE) or Backend (BE) development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in Core/Advanced Java, Junit, Springboot, Microservices, SOAP/REST API, SQL and NoSQL databases, API Gateway, Azure Cloud, and DEVOps CI/CD. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems through the implementation and maintenance of APIs. Code quality is paramount, and you will ensure this through code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing practices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate them into projects when applicable. Active participation in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, is expected. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in either Frontend or Backend development. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ownership of projects and the delivery of high-quality results are key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in either Frontend or Backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Core/Advanced Java, Junit, Springboot, Microservices, SOAP/REST API, SQL and NoSQL databases, API Gateway, Azure Cloud, and DEVOps CI/CD.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and work on diverse projects.

Nice-to-haves
