About the position

The Lead Full Stack Software Engineer/Architect will play a crucial role in redefining the pharmacy experience for patients and pharmacists. This position involves delivering high-value applications and services while fostering personal and team growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, particularly in a HIPAA compliant environment, and will be responsible for building secure, stable, and scalable software solutions. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with product managers and technical teams to define product roadmaps and milestones, ensuring high-quality code delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with the product manager and the technical team to define the product roadmap and milestones.
• Develop front-end components in React/Typescript and backend components in NodeJS, Kotlin, and Go.
• Leverage Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure for Infrastructure.
• Complete code reviews for teammates and provide feedback.
• Communicate clearly with the team to deliver high-quality code.
• Ensure your software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
• Mentor and pair with other engineers to collaborate on solutions and provide guidance where needed.

Requirements

• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science.
• Proven experience as a full-stack software developer.
• Experience in software development and coding in various languages (esp. Spring Java/Kotlin, Node.JS, TypeScript, GoLang, etc.).
• Experience managing team-wide Change Control Processes utilizing GIT.
• Experience running Peer Code Review sessions.
• Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
• Significant Micro-services architecture and development skills.
• Experience with container-based microservices including Kubernetes.
