About the position

The Lead Game Product Manager at Electronic Arts is responsible for creating engaging live service experiences for players of the Madden NFL franchise. This role combines strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills to develop actionable plans and content strategies that enhance player engagement and monetization. The position involves collaboration with various teams to optimize game features and ensure a data-driven approach to product management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage live content, campaigns, and features to maximize acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
  • Lead best-practice strategies for live service levers in the product space.
  • Implement a data-driven culture of hypothesis, implementation, testing, validation, and iteration.
  • Develop and implement game health review cycles based on internal and external feedback and product metrics.
  • Conduct user and competitive research to identify user segments and maximize player engagement and retention.
  • Optimize player experience and core financial performance.
  • Analyze best practices for optimization, merchandising, and feature implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop business cases and assess impacts on product metrics.
  • Prioritize the roadmap and measure risk/reward payouts against cost.
  • Serve as a learning resource for other product managers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, system design, live operations, or analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in live services.
  • Experience developing or improving features for a consumer product.
  • Experience defining and tracking metrics for product success and forecasting/modeling skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with organized documentation.
  • Ability to create wireframes and product specifications.
  • Project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff.
  • Passion for dissecting and analyzing games, systems, and features.
  • Experience with successful live service console and/or mobile games.
