About the position

Symple Lending is seeking a LeadGen Data Scientist to optimize the company's Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) by allocating a significant marketing budget. The role involves utilizing machine learning, data analysis, and cloud infrastructure to enhance decision-making processes and improve customer targeting strategies. The Data Scientist will be responsible for building and deploying code packages, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, such as predictive modeling and recommendation systems.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Python to automate data processing and analysis.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Reference and critique data within the company Data Lake and write SQL queries to transform data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Python scripting for data analysis and automation.
• Experience in deploying production-grade machine learning solutions.
