About the position

The Lead GEOINT Quality Test Engineer (GQTE) is responsible for performing GEOINT quality risk analysis, test planning, and test performance of GEOINT data, systems, applications, and services. This role involves providing technical and process leadership to the GEOINT Quality team, ensuring the implementation of standard testing practices and knowledge dissemination. The Lead GQTE will conceive initial tests to address GEOINT quality risks introduced by design, development requirements, and system/data integration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GEOINT quality risk analysis and test planning.
  • Conduct test performance of GEOINT data, systems, applications, and services.
  • Provide technical and process leadership to GEOINT Quality team members.
  • Ensure the spread of standard test practices and knowledge within the team.
  • Conceive initial tests to address GEOINT quality risks introduced by design and development requirements.
  • Lead teams in successful verification and test strategies for complex programs.
  • Design and apply manual test cases and automation scripts to address GEOINT quality risks.
  • Support the automation strategy for modernizing the GEOINT quality test mission.
  • Collaborate with internal and external leadership to influence and work effectively.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a Top Secret clearance and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; 10 years with an MS/MA; 7 years with a Ph.D.
  • Extensive experience in Analysis/Gathering, Test Planning, Test Case Development, Test Execution, Test Automation, and Test Reporting related to GEOINT quality concerns.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies for complex programs.
  • Experience designing and applying manual test cases and automation scripts for GEOINT quality risks.
  • Knowledge of cloud development processes and industry system engineering practices.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Proven track record in realizing verification and test requirements into system solutions.
