About the position

The Lead Golang Developer will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of high-performance backend solutions using Golang. This role involves collaboration with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, as well as ensuring the development of efficient, scalable, and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-performance backend solutions using Golang.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and architect efficient, scalable, and secure systems to support application features.
• Review and approve code from team members, providing guidance on best practices and development standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of overall experience in software development.
• 6+ years of experience with Golang, with demonstrated expertise in developing, deploying, and managing Golang applications in a production environment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of developers.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
