About the position

As a Lead in GPS Location Intelligence at NIKE, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving the location advisory function that informs Nike's corporate real estate investment decisions. This position is integral to the Global Places & Services (GPS) organization, which is responsible for the strategy and operations of Nike's corporate portfolio. You will be tasked with sourcing and managing ongoing streams of data that are critical to location selection methodologies, ensuring that the company makes informed decisions about where to invest in real estate. Your work will involve developing location and portfolio reviews that consider long-term enterprise growth, talent acquisition and retention, and portfolio management strategies. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in commercial real estate site selection, urban planning, and urban economics to produce compelling investment narratives. You will be responsible for creating business intelligence reports, case studies, and investment proposals that effectively communicate the rationale behind location decisions. Your ability to transform complex data into succinct and persuasive narratives will be essential in driving the semi-annual location strategy and portfolio reporting moments. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with various internal teams, including Manufacturing+Supply Chain, Global Real Estate, and Finance, to produce reports and investment cases necessary for committee decisions. You will also engage with external data sources to enhance the existing data and GIS platforms that house critical location information assets. Your role will require you to manage projects effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the location advisory function for Nike's corporate real estate investment decisions.
  • Source and manage ongoing streams of data critical to location selection methodologies.
  • Develop location and portfolio reviews considering long-term enterprise growth and talent acquisition.
  • Produce business intelligence reports, case studies, and investment proposals independently.
  • Drive the process of semi-annual location strategy and portfolio reporting moments.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing+Supply Chain, Global Real Estate, and Finance teams on reports and investment cases.
  • Evolve data sources and GIS platforms that house dashboards and critical location information assets.
  • Facilitate the location evaluation process and meetings in post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in producing business intelligence advisory reporting for site selection, including case studies and investment proposals.
  • 2+ years' experience in cross-functional collaboration related to real estate operations and government compliance.
  • Familiarity with data and information sources for assessing large-scale commercial real estate opportunities internationally.
  • Knowledge of urban economics and ability to conduct relevant research.
  • Exceptional skills in designing advisory collateral using PowerPoint.
  • Strong data management and financial analysis skills using Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.).
  • Experience using GIS platforms for real estate analysis.
  • Proven project management skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in urban economics, urban planning, real estate, management consulting, or related field.
