About the position

The Lead Graphic Designer at Hume Christian Camps is responsible for using graphic design to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the impact of the organization. This role involves providing leadership for the Hume brand and creating designs that articulate the ministry's mission and values. The graphics produced will be utilized for both internal and external marketing and communication efforts, encompassing digital and print media.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ministry leaders to support design projects from concept to final delivery.
• Lead the visual representation of the Hume brand to communicate its mission and impact.
• Coordinate and execute design projects, working closely with the Marketing and Communications team.
• Manage external partnerships with agencies, art services, and printers for project completion.
• Stay current on design trends to deliver effective content.

Requirements

• Evidence of strong Christian faith with a passion for sharing the gospel and meeting spiritual needs.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design, print, and marketing communications.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including copywriting and grammar proficiency.
• Skilled in organizing and managing projects, delegating tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Familiar with advertising and marketing strategies for youth and adults.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willing to live on-site during camp sessions and work in various weather conditions.
