About the position

The Lead Graphic Designer at Gary Musick Productions is responsible for creating visually stunning designs for various platforms, including digital and physical formats. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to develop design solutions that align with brand needs, utilizing advanced design software and principles. The designer will also manage projects, oversee budgets, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create visual designs for logos, posters, banners, signage, props, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to develop design solutions.
• Utilize 3D modeling software like SketchUp and Adobe Substance Stager for design elements.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Keynote for digital assets.
• Apply design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout for visuals.
• Work directly with clients to design and edit presentations, acting as Graphics Operator during live productions.
• Travel as needed to manage graphics and slides for presentations and events.
• Ensure accurate and on-brand designs by interfacing with audiovisual teams.
• Oversee budgeting for print and design work, ensuring cost accuracy and communication regarding potential overruns.

Requirements

• Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles and production methods for print and digital formats.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
