About the position

The Lead Graphic Designer at Big Frog is responsible for creating custom designs for a variety of products, including t-shirts, polos, and tote bags. This role emphasizes customer interaction and satisfaction, requiring the designer to work closely with clients to bring their ideas to life using graphic design software. The position is available in both part-time and full-time capacities, with a focus on teamwork and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to create designs that they love.
• Integrate designs onto Big Frog templates and print them.
• Provide customers with information about product and service offerings.
• Use the Big Frog POS system to manage customer transactions.
• Greet customers in a timely manner and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Manage incoming inventory, including unpacking boxes and stocking shelves.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of color theory and typography.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with CorelDraw is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new design tools and software.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in graphic design or production is beneficial.
• Experience working in a retail environment for at least one year.
• Savvy about social networking (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Experience as a key holder for a small business.
