About the position

The Lead Guest Attendant at Woodspring Suites in Naples, FL, is a pivotal role within the hotel management team, responsible for assisting in operations and leading staff in the absence of the General Manager. This position emphasizes a passion for hospitality, team development, and ensuring high service standards are consistently met. The role includes training staff, managing guest relations, overseeing housekeeping operations, and contributing to sales and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Train and provide guidance to staff.
• Discuss staff performance discrepancies and training needs with the General Manager.
• Post checks in PMS and complete weekly labor tracker.
• Manage payment due reports and post paid outs and receipts.
• Monitor and follow up on guest feedback and concerns.
• Suggest and sell amenities to guests.
• Assign rooms to be cleaned by housekeeping and assist GM in inspecting rooms.
• Manage inventory and check property email.
• Build relationships with vendors and guests.
• Assist with in-house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy.
• Assist housekeeping in rooms as needed and complete laundry duties.
• Know and follow property emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back-of-house operations.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive in solving problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hotel management and consulting.
• Knowledge of property management systems (PMS).
