About the position
The Lead Gutter Installer at FINNMARK will oversee a team responsible for gutter installations and repairs in Oregon and Washington. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency while managing a small crew and collaborating with the construction division on larger projects. The position requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and involves significant heights, ensuring that all installations meet company standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage a 3-person team for gutter installations and repairs.
- Conduct safety meetings and perform equipment inspections.
- Manage supply inventory and address minor team issues.
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently with a quality outcome.
- Lead, manage, and train crew members in safe work practices.
- Record and submit accurate job data relating to daily services performed.
- Remove existing gutters and install new gutters and downspouts.
- Relay pertinent information to supervisors and customers in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in gutter installation and repair, preferably in a leadership role.
- Ability to manage and lead a 3-person crew, including addressing minor discipline issues.
- Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment for gutter installation and repair.
- High attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot on-site issues.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work from rooftops and ladders.
