About the position
The Lead Handyman - Maintenance Technician at Honey Homes is responsible for providing dedicated maintenance services to single-family homeowners across the Bay Area. This role involves performing regular home maintenance tasks, managing community services, and addressing one-off repair requests, all while building strong relationships with customers. The position offers a stable work environment with a focus on work-life balance, as it operates Monday to Friday with no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on major appliances and systems in members' homes.
- Organize and execute monthly community events and jobs.
- Build relationships with members to become their trusted home advisor.
- Provide feedback to headquarters for service improvement and collaborate on field changes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, including at least 3 years in residential apartment maintenance and 3 years in single-family home maintenance or carpentry.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform maintenance on key home appliances and systems.
- Basic technology skills for smart home devices installation.
- Impeccable safety record and ability to lift heavy materials.
