About the position

We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Market Access Insights team. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, quality, and functionality of specific content sets. The US Market Access Lead Analyst provides forward-looking analysis of trends affecting US managed care organizations, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, and other key components of the US healthcare market. Analysts should possess well-developed critical thinking skills, an interest in data analysis, an understanding of the fundamentals of US managed care, and strong writing skills for a professional audience. Successful candidates should be self-starters with the ability to multi-task and possess excellent time management skills. As a Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting both primary and secondary research to support the development and maintenance of content for multiple products. This includes ensuring that published information contains premium content that meets the high standards expected by our clients. You will also be expected to provide insightful analysis that can help shape the understanding of market dynamics and trends within the healthcare sector. Your work will directly contribute to the strategic insights that our clients rely on to make informed decisions in a rapidly evolving market. The Market Access Insights team is dedicated to providing qualitative and quantitative intelligence to all sectors of the U.S. healthcare industry. This position is full-time and will be performed in a hybrid model in Philadelphia, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. While duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required to meet project deadlines or client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production, quality, and functionality of specific content sets.

  • Conduct research, analysis, and writing to support the development and maintenance of content for multiple products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting primary and secondary research for projects.
  • 5+ years of experience writing for a professional audience.
  • Strong writing skills for a professional audience.
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills.
  • Interest in data analysis.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of US managed care.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Master's degree.
  • Higher education or work experience in journalism, communications, or related field.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Understanding of U.S. healthcare system and managed care (health insurance).
  • SQL experience.
  • Tableau experience.
