About the position

The Lead HRIS Analyst (Workday) at HUB International is responsible for supporting the Human Capital Management (HCM) business processes by leveraging expertise in Workday and related HR technologies. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Workday system to meet employee and business needs. The analyst will serve as a technical point-of-contact, ensuring operational effectiveness, data integrity, and process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday configuration and solutioning with a focus on dashboards & reports.
  • Coach and mentor HR Technology Analysts, sharing Workday expertise.
  • Support Workday release management, including reviewing release summaries and managing release testing.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS and apply key technologies.
  • Recommend process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes.
  • Evaluate, build, and maintain all elements related to HRIS systems including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Absence, HCM, Reporting, and Dashboards.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests across the organization.
  • Assist in identifying new HR needs and software products with a focus on data and analytics.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement to support long-term HR business goals.
  • Document standard processes/procedures and create user guides for functional practitioners.
  • Respond to and resolve HRIS tickets in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support and educate system end users on system navigation and usage.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or Business.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HRIS analyst role in a Workday environment.
  • Workday configuration, implementation, and/or consulting experience in 2 or more modules including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Performance & Talent Management.
  • Workday partner or Pro Certification strongly desired.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data and present findings.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with varying levels of leadership.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Solution-oriented with solid business acumen.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
