As a Lead Human Resources Specialist in the Career Development Department of the Human Capital Management Group at NAVAIRWARCENAC Division, you will play a pivotal role in providing personnel support and management services to military and civilian managers, employees, and tenant activities. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Training Operations team, overseeing the planning and administration of employee and organizational training, education, and development programs specifically for the Puxent River complex. This position requires effective communication of team assignments and projects, ensuring that deadlines and time frames for completion are met. You will collaborate with team members to resolve issues and solve problems, fostering a team-oriented environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for training staff on team-building techniques and guiding them in accomplishing tasks or projects collaboratively. Your recommendations regarding team and individual awards, rewards, and recognition will be communicated to your supervisor, highlighting your leadership and advocacy for your team’s achievements.
