About the position

The Lead Information Security Analyst at ADP plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's data security posture by focusing on advanced data protection services within the Global Zero Trust Security Portfolio Team. This position emphasizes the importance of network security analytics, reporting, and operations, ensuring the security of data throughout its lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong balance of expertise in data management and cybersecurity, driving automation and orchestration efforts while collaborating across teams to influence security practices at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to enhance network security by automating and orchestrating processes across technology applications, backend databases, and security systems.
  • Design and implement automation workflows to optimize data quality, reduce manual tasks, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Use advanced analytical skills to sift through complex data sets to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Implement and enforce data protection policies and controls to safeguard sensitive data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain detailed security reports that drive risk-reduction strategies and manage the risk register.
  • Provide guidance and training for internal teams on best practices for reducing excessive access and managing cloud app usage.
  • Lead or support security incident response, leveraging tools for log review and monitoring.
  • Drive security integration within development and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and ALM tools.
  • Use tools to create and visualize security metrics and reporting, enabling data-driven decisions to enhance the overall security program.
  • Provide ongoing operational support, ensuring the smooth running of security processes and handling security incidents.

Requirements

  • Five-plus years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including planning, implementing, and running security capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and cross-functional knowledge of multiple cybersecurity disciplines.
  • Experience with next generation antivirus (NGAV), data leakage prevention (DLP), and structured and unstructured data protection technologies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with security partners, technology teams, and business units.
  • Experience in a global hybrid cloud environment, including AWS, O365, and Google Cloud Platform.

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Experience with CI/CD and ALM tools like Jira, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency in a major scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for systems automation.
