About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer for the Cyber Threat Fusion Center. This role involves leading computer security incident response activities, conducting technical investigations of security incidents, and providing security consulting for large projects. The engineer will design and maintain complex security solutions, review security logs, and implement best practices in information security.

Responsibilities

• Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events
• Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics
• Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients
• Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for security solutions
• Review and correlate security logs
• Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions
• Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
• Lead a team to achieve objectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience
• 3+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
• 3+ years of Information Security reporting and analysis experience
• 3+ years of cyber security incidents and events investigation experience
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud platforms

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of information security experience in various security disciplines
• Knowledge and understanding of security analytics
• 3+ years of SIEM experience
• Experience with CrowdStrike
• Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
