About the position

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is ideal for individuals who are exceptional, innovative, and passionate about information security and want to grow within an inclusive and adaptable organization. The Lead Information Security Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our information systems and applications, particularly in the context of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the field, and will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that integrate various components of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in GCP, including Key Vaults, Networking, Blob Storage, and Resource Groups, to enhance our security posture. You will also be responsible for provisioning and deploying automation technologies, utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation. Your experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control tools will be essential as you work to streamline our development processes and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Additionally, you will provide policy guidance for the usage of Generative AI across our organization, ensuring that we adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements. The Lead Information Security Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess security issues, make quick decisions, and implement effective solutions. Strong customer relationship management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role. You will be expected to document processes and communicate effectively with senior management, translating the needs of the teams into tangible deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security solutions for information systems and applications.
  • Integrate various components of IT infrastructure to enhance security.
  • Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Key Vaults, Networking, and Blob Storage.
  • Provision and deploy automation technologies using Terraform and Cloud Formation.
  • Manage access control to Generative AI resources on GCP, particularly Vertex AI.
  • Provide policy guidance for the usage of Generative AI across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance for training sets used on GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security issues and implement solutions.
  • Document processes and communicate effectively with senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology applications and systems.
  • 5+ years of experience developing solutions for integrating various components.
  • 3+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (Key Vaults, Networking, Blob Storage).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with provisioning and deployment automation technology stack including Terraform.
  • 1+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline and version control tools.
  • 1+ years of experience managing access control to Generative AI resources on GCP.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of experience with authentication tools such as Windows Credential Provider, SAML, OpenIDConnect, OAuth, JWT, and Kerberos.
  • 2+ years of architectural design and planning experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in scripting with PowerShell and Azure command line.
  • 3+ years of experience in RBAC and custom roles development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with SDLC, DevSecOps, Agile, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • 3+ years of experience with Privileged Access Management on GCP.
  • 2+ years of experience developing IAM solutions in cloud service providers.
