About the position

The Learning Design Manager at ADP is responsible for integrating large-scale learning initiatives to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment in learning design. This role involves mentoring team members, analyzing and aligning design across various learning projects, and creating compelling content that appeals to diverse audiences. The manager will focus on accessibility, cultural learning needs, and the modern learner's requirements while ensuring the highest standards in learning design.

Responsibilities

• Integrate large-scale learning initiatives to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor team members to enhance their professional skills.
• Analyze and align design across disparate learning projects and programs.
• Identify reuse and linkage opportunities across course content.
• Create compelling content and convey ideas to various organizational levels.
• Apply innovative design thinking to learning projects.
• Adapt to changing business requirements and use agile approaches.
• Design holistic learning solutions that address unique learner needs.
• Develop solutions across various learning modalities and tools.
• Measure learning outcomes to ensure business impact.
• Oversee the use of LMS administrative functions and innovative design applications.
• Focus on personal development and business process improvement.
• Build and maintain peer networks for continuous learning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in instructional development, adult learning theory, and/or technical writing.
• Advanced experience using eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, TechSmith SnagIt, Audacity, and/or Vyond.
• Technical aptitude to quickly learn new development tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Graphic Design.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (e.g., Litmos).
• Familiarity with programming fundamentals: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, BBcode.
• Comfort with browser consoles and troubleshooting JQuery commands.
