The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking a Lead Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA, Alexandria, VA, or preferably Dayton, Ohio. This role is pivotal in leading a team responsible for the development of enterprise-level test requirements, planning, and the integration of system hardware, software, and networks. The Lead Test Engineer will oversee verification, validation, and fielding support for network systems, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of precision, accuracy, and reliability. This position involves defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting and testing products, as well as leading vendor engagements to evaluate systems and align test requirements. In this role, the Lead Test Engineer will work closely with customers to build and implement effective test strategies, serving as the primary tester interface with the Chief Engineer. The engineer will facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems model, identify test methodologies for efficient verification and validation, and conduct design reviews of solutions. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for identifying and tracking risks associated with integration and validation, facilitating working groups, and conducting both informal and formal technical interchanges. Collaboration with software and hardware subject matter experts is essential to ensure that testing produces expected results, and the engineer will support the development and maintenance of system integration and test plans. The Lead Test Engineer will also diagnose problems encountered during application integration, document lessons learned, and maintain a robust test discipline for the program. A key aspect of this role is to build and support a culture grounded in Leidos values, beliefs, and expectations, while leading and mentoring test team engineers to achieve program objectives.
