About the position

We are one of the largest providers of health equipment in the Southwest United States, specializing in Medical, Hospitality, Wellness, and Commercial Properties. With over 60 full-time employees, we represent many of the most recognized brands worldwide. Over the last 20+ years, our installed client base has grown to over 2,000 locations, and our past work has brought national acclaim and awards. We are currently seeking a Lead Interior Designer who will be responsible for the development and implementation of standardized design concepts that meet customer specifications while ensuring the highest quality design solutions within corporate policies and design practices. The Lead Designer will play a crucial role in developing design-related presentations and assisting in the creation of proposals, including material selection and plan development. This position requires the ability to complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, records, and documents. The Lead Designer will also collaborate with the Marketing Department to provide essential materials for sales presentation packages, which may include sketches, renderings, drawings, and sample boards. Additionally, the Lead Designer will work closely with Sales Teams and customers to determine architectural preferences, the function of environments, and the types of fixtures and components to be installed, all of which will influence the planning of interior environments. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication, writing, and graphic skills, as well as proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe InDesign or Enscape. The Lead Designer is expected to remain current in design technology, trends, and strategic industry information, ensuring that all design ideas are rendered effectively in the form of drawings or illustrations for client approval.

Responsibilities

  • Developing design-related presentations and assisting in developing proposals, including material selection and plan development.
  • Completing preliminary designs through final concepts within established corporate design standards.
  • Maintaining all required paperwork, records, and documents.
  • Consulting with the Marketing Department to provide materials for sales presentation packages, including sketches, renderings, drawings, and sample boards.
  • Collaborating with Sales Teams and customers to determine architectural preferences and functional requirements for interior environments.
  • Rendering design ideas in drawings or illustrations and assisting in presentations for client approval.
  • Staying current with design technology, trends, and strategic industry information.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Hospitality, Residential, or Commercial Interior Design.
  • 2+ years of experience with design software, preferably AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
