The role involves collaborating with clients to create innovative and functional design concepts, managing project timelines and budgets, and overseeing the procurement of design elements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating beautiful spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs, preferences, and budget.
• Develop strong client relationships and maintain open communication throughout the design process.
• Create innovative and functional space plans.
• Develop design concepts, including color palettes, material selections, and furniture layouts.
• Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and artisans to ensure timely project completion.
• Oversee construction and installation processes.
• Source high-quality furniture, lighting, and other design elements.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best pricing and delivery terms.
• Present design concepts to clients using clear and compelling visuals.
• Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, Keynote, AutoCAD, Lumion, Autodesk Revit, Cedreo, Fiverr).
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects that align with Mullen Design Co.'s aesthetic.
