The Lead Internal Communications Manager at Lumen is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies that align with the company's goals and culture. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with company goals.
• Create and distribute high-quality content including newsletters, articles, and presentations.
• Support leadership communication by developing strategies and materials for effective messaging.
• Plan and execute initiatives to foster employee engagement and a positive work environment.
• Establish feedback mechanisms to assess communication effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Coordinate and support internal events such as town halls and employee meetings.
• Ensure all internal communications are consistent with the company's brand and values.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in internal communications or a similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven experience working with senior leaders and managing executive communications.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with graphic design and video production.
• Knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms, such as intranets and social media.
