About the position

The Inventory Control Lead at Cresco Labs plays a crucial role in overseeing inventory management processes within the Supply Chain Team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, supporting material handlers, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. The lead will also be involved in cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and the implementation of procedures to prevent errors, all while promoting a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory records are always accurate
  • Assist in managing State inventory system BioTrack
  • Maintain accurate records to record inventory changes, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Research and reconcile count variances to determine root cause
  • Assist in the implementation of procedures to prevent errors
  • Follow state guidelines to maintain an accurate physical inventory and ensure the integrity of facility records
  • Ensure bulk material & finished goods are physically & systemically accurate within BioTrack
  • Follow a Master Schedule of Production and Packaging inventory to ensure the shelf-life quality of all perishable stock items
  • Receive excess materials back from production at the end of a run, accurately recording quantities or weights and storing in the proper location
  • Accurately record weights of all product going to Packaging department
  • Assist in the receiving of goods, stocking shelves and keeping inventory of all packaging
  • Other duties to support the overall operation as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting; experience in training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate math skills
  • High level of organizational skill
  • Deadline driven and detail oriented
  • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all company departments and employees
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level
