About the position

As a Lead IT Analyst at Honeywell International, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving transformative digital programs aimed at enhancing self-service customer portals and overall customer experience across various business units and geographical locations. Your primary focus will be on developing an industry-leading API and Microservices-based digital landscape. You will collaborate closely with the service owner for the Portal to build a comprehensive roadmap for feature introduction, implementation, and deployment across multiple Honeywell businesses. This position requires a deep understanding of business requirements and solutions that align with enterprise standards, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders to discover, capture, and assess project requirements, producing the necessary documentation to support these initiatives. Working alongside UX teams, you will create wireframes to articulate requirements and draft user stories that will guide the development process. You will provide business requirements that technical leads can translate into architected solutions, overseeing projects supported by junior resources and establishing a Management Operating System (MOS) to ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and scope commitments. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with technical resources to ensure that solutions are developed according to the specified requirements. You will be tasked with testing and validating solutions to achieve desired outcomes, including supporting end users with system validation. Additionally, you will configure platforms by leveraging the out-of-the-box capabilities of the software platform. A key aspect of your role will be owning the customer portal functional onboarding roadmaps for multiple Honeywell business units, guiding them in annual object planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for transformative digital programs for self-service customer portals and customer experience across businesses and geographies.
  • Work towards an industry-leading API and Microservices-based digital landscape.
  • Collaborate with the service owner for the Portal to build the roadmap for feature introduction, implementation, and deployment.
  • Analyze business requirements and solutions that align with enterprise standards and enhance customer experience.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to discover, capture, and assess project requirements and produce required documentation.
  • Work with UX to create wireframes and draft user stories.
  • Provide business requirements that technical leads can translate into architected solutions.
  • Oversee projects supported by junior resources, establishing an MOS to ensure adherence to cost/schedule/scope commitments.
  • Collaborate with technical resources to ensure solutions are developed per requirements.
  • Ensure solutions are tested and validated to achieve desired outcomes, including support of end users with systems validation.
  • Configure platforms leveraging out-of-the-box software platform capabilities.
  • Own the customer portal functional onboarding roadmaps of multiple Honeywell business units and guide them on annual object planning and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of Information Technology experience, including applied mathematical theories and techniques to solve practical problems in business and engineering.
  • Experience in improving business decisions by interpreting data and reporting conclusions from data analysis.
  • Proven ability to design scalable enterprise applications and implement best practices for application/infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience in implementing logical design to solve complex business problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience performing system design and gap analysis.
  • Ability to serve as a link between technology departments and organizational management, helping to abstract real business problems into software or models.
