About the position

The Lead IT Desktop Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Halliburton employees and partners by applying advanced Information Technology skills. This position involves team leadership, project management, and technical operations to ensure efficient desktop support and user satisfaction. The role is temporary, with a pay rate of $33 per hour and a potential assignment length of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of desktop support technicians at the main campus.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of all end-user devices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the desktop support team and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the resolution of critical incidents, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years in IT support, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, Active Directory, remote support tools, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Service Now.
