About the position

This position is located in Defense Information Systems Agency, organization EX (OPERATIONS, PLANS AND EXERCISES DIRECTORATE) in Letterkenny, PA. The salary range for this position is $139,395 - $181,216 per year, classified under pay scale GG 14. The position is permanent, full-time, and requires occasional travel. Responsibilities

  • Serves as a Team Leader for the planning, training, and standardizing support to all areas of Information Assurance (IA) and computer network defenses.
  • Apply IT project management principles, methods, and practices. Develop plans and schedules, estimate resource requirements, define milestones and deliverables, monitor activities, and evaluate/report on accomplishments to manage assigned projects.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to present technical briefings to senior technical and managerial personnel, prepares in-depth reports, and deals with other on controversial issues.
  • Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity. Skill in applying information systems cybersecurity principles, concepts and methods.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This national security position requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
  • Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training.
  • For GG-14, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.
  • Qualifying experience includes experience as a Team Lead for both contractor and civilian personnel, providing advice in Project Management, Cybersecurity Service Operations, and briefing Senior leadership.
