About the position
The Lead IV Wellness Nurse at Restore Hyper Wellness is responsible for managing a team of nurses while providing innovative wellness services in a fun and comfortable environment. This role combines leadership with clinical duties, focusing on administering IV therapy, educating clients, and ensuring high-quality nursing practices. The position aims to help individuals on their health and wellness journey while fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Restore Nurses by performing monthly chart audits, hosting regular meetings, and training all new RN hires at your location.
- Conduct in-person interviews for all nurse candidates and partner with the General Manager to onboard all new hires.
- Manage the schedules of part-time nurses and ensure a Restore Nurse is on the schedule at all medical operating hours.
- Disseminate policy updates and act as a liaison between the corporate team and your location.
- Regularly evaluate the nursing staff to ensure high-quality skill levels and best practices.
- Attend corporate-led monthly nursing calls and administer IV Drip Therapy and Intramuscular Injections.
- Educate clients on the qualities and benefits of our IV Drips and Intramuscular Injection ingredients.
- Manage the medical supply inventory and ordering process.
- Promote & sell memberships and medical services based on client needs.
- Document client visits via electronic medical records and address client questions under supervision.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Two years of experience as a nurse in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or similar)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certified
- Leadership or management skills
- At least one year of experience administering injections
- Comfortable using electronic medical records to document client details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse clientele and maintain a non-judgemental outlook
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a med spa environment
- Knowledge of Hyper Wellness modalities
- Community outreach experience
