About the position

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in AWS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies, focusing on building scalable and reliable applications. The role emphasizes modern development practices, particularly Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable Java applications.
• Integrate APIs and REST services into applications.
• Utilize AWS services for cloud-based application development and management.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices in the development process.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance application performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra).
• Strong background in API integration and REST services.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Practical experience with AWS services, including ECS/EKS and Aurora (Postgres DB).
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure management.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS Developer or AWS Architect certification.
