About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer responsible for providing technical expertise and coordinating day-to-day deliverables for the team. The role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, and ensuring data security, retention, and recovery. The candidate will also research technologies to recommend solutions and contribute to best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java/J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and Springboot.
• Experience with Webservices, REST services, and Microservices.
• Experience with enterprise web servers, preferably WebSphere or JBoss.
• Experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities.
• Experience in application/production support.
• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
