About the position

The Lead Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend solutions using Java technologies. This role requires extensive experience in Java development, particularly with the Spring framework and cloud technologies, to lead projects and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend solutions using Java and Spring framework.
• Develop and maintain microservices and web services.
• Work with MQ/Websphere/Tomcat for application deployment and management.
• Utilize AWS cloud technologies for application development and deployment.
• Lead and mentor junior developers in best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• At least 13 years of experience in Java development.
• Extensive experience with Spring framework, Spring Integration, Microservices, and WebServices.
• Strong experience with MQ/Websphere/Tomcat.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS development, particularly with AWS EventBridge and event-driven architecture.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
