About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer who will play a pivotal role in interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The Lead Java Developer will be responsible for creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code deliverables for a module. Additionally, this role involves leading validation for all types of testing and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. The ideal candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. The position may require up to 20% travel within the United States. A Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent is required, although work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically with Java and Spring Boot. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as the company is unable to sponsor visas at this time. In addition to the required qualifications, preferred candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Web Services, as well as experience in data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects is also essential. The ability to work in a diverse team environment and strong analytical skills are highly valued. Experience and a desire to work in a global delivery environment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
