Cognizant Digital Engineering is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer (FSE) with expertise in Angular or React to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge, cloud-based software solutions that empower modern businesses. As part of a small, cross-functional team that includes Product Managers, Architects, Full Stack Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Big Data Analysts, you will collaborate closely to build high-quality software faster than traditional siloed approaches. Our teams operate within a Lean-Agile framework, embracing a DevOps culture that fosters innovation and continuous improvement. In this position, you will engage with product owners and business analysts to understand and analyze requirements, ensuring that the software you develop meets the needs of our diverse global clients. You will be tasked with developing applications using Java and Spring Boot, as well as creating user interface screens with JavaScript, Angular, or React. Your role will also involve unit testing using client-approved testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, and participating in design discussions with client architects and business analysts to ensure alignment on project goals. This position is based in either Dallas, Texas, or Salt Lake City, Utah, and requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
