Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and maintain best practices for software development including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Ensure that all software solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work as required.

Requirements

• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Show experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Have a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Display the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
