About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer whose primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, and create interfaces between applications. A strong understanding of data security, retention, and recovery is essential. The role holder should be capable of independently researching technologies to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. This includes contributing to success criteria from design through deployment, focusing on reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability. The candidate will also provide expertise on significant application components, programming languages, databases, and operating systems, guiding and mentoring the team during the build and test phases. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Addison, TX, and be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and create interfaces between applications.

• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, focusing on reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
• Provide expertise on significant application components, programming languages, databases, and operating systems.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java/J2EE and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• At least 4-6 years of experience in Core Java, Microservices, and Springboot.
• Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, and Microservices.
• Experience and good knowledge of Springboot and Spring MVC.
• Experience with any enterprise web server, preferably Websphere, JBoss, or Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle database.
• At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
• At least 4 years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Willingness to work in application/production support.
• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
