About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Microservices Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. The role involves building high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems, creating high-level design artifacts, and delivering high-quality code. The candidate will lead validation for testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, all while fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and respect for diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems and create high-level design artifacts.
  • Deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module and lead validation for all types of testing.
  • Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration within a learning culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, and OpenShift deployments.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 5 years of experience in Java hands-on development.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.
  • In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture and practical experience with Microservices Framework like Spring Boot.
  • Good knowledge of API design.
  • Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI/CD tools.
