About the position

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Microservices Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Microservices. The role involves building high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems, creating high-level design artifacts, and delivering high-quality code. The candidate will also lead validation for testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, all while being part of a collaborative and diverse learning culture.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant systems with a focus on application architecture and design.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, and OpenShift deployments.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 6 years of experience in Java hands-on development.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environments.
• In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture and practical experience with Microservices Framework like Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of API design.
• Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven design.
