About the position

The Lead Java Springboot Developer at Infosys is responsible for providing technical expertise and coordinating day-to-day deliverables for the development team. This role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, and ensuring data security and integrity. The developer will also research technologies to recommend solutions and contribute to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Core Java, Springboot, and Webservices.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities.
• Good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP, and JavaScript.
• Experience with enterprise web servers, preferably Websphere or JBoss.
• Experience in the Banking domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
