About the position

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Lead Laundry Attendant to join our high-volume laundromat team. This part-time position involves managing laundry operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness in the laundry area. The role includes both laundry attendant duties and backup driving responsibilities, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and adhering to sanitization protocols.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders using a laptop with accurate customer information and laundry preferences.
• Prioritize workload based on delivery dates to customers.
• Sort laundry items by color, size, and material; wash laundry using commercial equipment following sanitization protocols.
• Unload laundry from commercial dryers and wrap it for pickup or delivery to customers.
• Process credit card payments via Square terminal and close orders using a laptop.
• Stock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room area and equipment.

Requirements

• Comfortable following stringent guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing clothing and linens.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills for handling requests, issues, and complaints professionally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail when sorting colored items and handling delicate fabrics.
