About the position

The Lead Leasing Agent at Minnesota Apartments LLC is responsible for managing the leasing process for a portfolio of small to medium-sized residential properties. This role involves responding to inquiries, conducting property showings, and converting leads into rental applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with leasing and marketing duties.
• Respond quickly to guest inquiries and convert them into showings.
• Manage the application process and ensure compliance with lease obligations.
• Coordinate marketing efforts and applicant screening processes.
• Maintain a professional and proactive attitude while updating market knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience in the multi-family housing industry and leasing is required.
• Knowledge of property management rules and regulations, including Fair Housing.
• Experience with AppFolio Property Management Software is preferred.
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software is necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-through are required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with lease-ups is preferred.
• Customer focus and bottom line orientation are beneficial.
