The Lead Line Cook/Chef position at Tank & Libby's is a full-time role focused on high-volume breakfast and lunch service. The role involves managing a grill or egg station, ensuring quality and freshness of dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of all ingredients and assembly of dishes according to recipes, including omelets and eggs benedict.
• Open and set up your station, work service, break down and clean your station.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the day and comply with food safety protocols.
• Ensure quality and freshness of product by writing daily prep lists and maintaining par levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Culinary Degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in high-volume cooking, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or resort with a focus on breakfast and lunch.
• Understanding of all cooking methods, ability to read kitchen checks, follow recipes, and possess good knife skills.
• Ability to perform tasks with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, quick thinker, and dedicated to the culinary craft.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume restaurant and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and lift heavy materials.
